Its not uncommon for girls to start learning and to experience success in lacrosse at any of our 4 age groups or earlier in mixed divisions of tyke and mini tyke.
Lacrosse game play and strategies are very close to both basketball and ringette. If you're looking for a fast paced, exciting sport there's no doubt that lacrosse is for you.
For those with post secondary interests lacrosse can lead to scholarship opportunities through out the US and even international competition in girls field lacrosse.
