U17 Division and 2026 Season Info  (2010/2011)  ages 15 & 16

U17

2026 Season Information

  • U17 Lacrosse has male and female teams (visit U17 Female Division Homepage for specific info for female teams.)
  • U17 teams will consist of a min 12 runners +1 goalie, up to 18 runners + 2 goalies per team (dependent on registrations)
  • U17 Lacrosse is played in tiers A,B (there is no 'C' division at this age division)
  • Players who wish to tryout for the U17 'A' team must declare their intent to do so with their 2026 registration
    • Deadline for 'A' Player Intent: January 27, 2026
    • Review 'A' Team Information
    • 'A' tryouts start in Feburary
    • U17 'A' is part of the Wild Rose Lacrosse League
  • There will be 'B' evaluations that all other players must attend for the formation of the remaining 'B' teams
    • Evaluations will consist of skills and 5 on 5 scrimmages 
    • 'B' Evaluations start in March.
    • Please review the Titans Evaluation Policy (final updates being made, check back in January)
  • U17 Division Season Play will begin the week of April 13th, 2026.
  • U17B  and U17F weekday games will be scheduled any day of the week with a start time of anywhere between 7:00-8:30pm.
    • There will be some weekend play with Westlock.
    • There will be travel for league play, for female lacrosse, to Central Alberta on some weekends.
  • No set days for practices; 1-2 practices per week Monday through Sunday.
  • GELC Playoffs: June 15-26, 2026
  • Provincials (Medicine Hat): July 10-12, 2026
  • U17A Division - Wild Rose Lacrosse League (WRLL)

    • Season Start Date TBD
    • Regional games will be scheduled any day of the week and will involve travel.
    • U17A Provincial League Games will be played on weekends.
    • No set days for practices; 1-2 practices per week Monday through Sunday.

  • In U17 only the 3rd period will be played as stop-time. Stop-time is defined as the clock only stopping for goals, penalties, or time outs except for the 6 goal differential rule as per 9.05..
  • A game sheet must be completed. All goals, penalties and assists are recorded.
  • Titans shorts are required for games *Only available for purchase through Sin Bin
  • Each team gets 2 sets of jerseys (home/away) that need to be returned at the end of the season.
